MISSION
Our mission is to develop the safest, best planned, and most recognized 'premier' reliever airport within the Houston Metropolitan area. This will be accomplished through a thoughtful marketing plan that communicates that we are an upscale destination, providing a lasting impression through superior services, facilities and state of the art technology, while being a valued neighbor and financially successful.
GOALS
The City's major goals for the airport are:
- To provide the highest levels of airport service to the airport user and traveling public in attractive, modern, and safe facilities.
- To develop the airport in a manner consistent with Federal, State and Local regulations, to ensure safe and efficient operations and to meet the demands of the community.
- To ensure adequate levels of funding through Federal, State and Local grant programs for the continued development of the airport's facilities and infrastructure.
- To maintain fiscal responsibility through sound and effective management practices.
- To ensure the financial health of the airport through the aggressive development of aviation and commercial related business.
- To promote positive community support and awareness.
- To protect the airport from the encroachment of incompatible land use.
